Getting interesting

Here is some things to get us going. Thanks Britta for the heads up.

2/1: Get your fill of Warm Beer Cold Women at the Guthrie in a retrospective celebration of Tom Waits's music. 7:30 p.m. Tickets $18-34.

2/2: Dance Your Heart Out for Camp Heartland at the 12-hour dance fundraiser at the MOA rotunda. 9 a.m.-9 p.m.

2/3: Go take a hike. Better yet, grab your skis and go to Wirth Park for this year's City of Lakes Loppet, Minneapolis's annual urban cross-country ski event. 9 a.m. $35.

2/6: Lebanese-born international sensation Mika tears up the stage at First Ave. 6 p.m. Tickets $25

2/7: Take those two left feet for a spin with an intro-level ballet class taught by the Minnesota Dance Institute at the Hennepin Arts Center. 7:30-9 p.m. Tickets $10.

2/9: Dance, drink and mingle with other 30-and 40-somethings, all for a good cause, at Pacer’s Hot Party in downtown Minneapolis. Music by Christy Love. Tickets $50 in advance.

2/10: Today's your last chance to look at what's Behind the Diorama Glass at the Bell Museum of Natural History. Free with museum admission.
